WhatTheJob

AI field operations, from first message to job done. WhatsApp, SMS, email, and voice become jobs you approve, assign, and finish. A person still lets the work through.

The path

How a sentence becomes a job you can finish.

Conversation in. AI drafts. You approve. Work finished. WhatsApp, SMS, email, and voice land in one inbox. The model extracts a request. A person still decides.

WhatsApp
“Hi, our AC stopped working. We’re at 24 King Street. Can someone come tomorrow afternoon?”

That is the most important story in the product. If this path is excellent, a prettier calendar will not have to save the week.

  1. 01 · Write

They write the way they already write

They should not need to learn your software. A message is enough: what is broken, where, and when they hope someone can come.

WhatsApp, SMS, email, and voice land in the same inbox. There is no customer portal.

  2. 02 · Inbox

The inbox owns the thread. AI drafts the request.

All four channels land in Queries, tied to the business, the customer, and the thread. Nothing lives only on a personal phone.

Extraction fills service, site, timing, and the problem. Confidence and missing fields stay visible. If the model is wrong, you still have the message.

    Queries

    Queries
Who needs a person, what AI is handling, what is ready to convert.
  3. 03 · You

A person still lets the work through

A dispatcher or owner reviews the draft, edits what is off, and decides it is a job. Then you pick the crew member and the window.

The model drafts the request. It does not send anyone. Not every conversation should become work.

    Jobs

    Jobs
Late and unassigned sit up front. You still decide who goes.
  4. 04 · Done

The crew finishes it. The customer hears.

Crew open the Crew App: today’s jobs, notes, photos, checklist, signature. When they complete, the customer is told it is done.

An optional short survey can run on that same phone. Loyalty is a separate switch, off until you turn it on.

    Crew App job
The same job the desk approved, on a phone.

Side by side

The spreadsheet chase, written down.

How it usually works

  • The request lives on a personal phone. If that phone is off, the job does not start.
  • Someone retypes the address, time, and what is broken into a sheet. Something is always off.
  • The crew member guesses the site. The customer texts “are you coming?” into the same chat.
  • Done means a voice note, a photo in a group, or nothing. Nobody tells the customer.

With WhatTheJob

  • The thread lands in Queries, owned by the business, visible to the people who dispatch.
  • AI drafts a structured request. A person still sees the raw message before it becomes a job.
  • The job record has the site, window, and notes. The crew member opens it on the Crew App.
  • Checklist, photos, signature, complete, then the customer is told it is done.
